Introduction of District Giridih State Jharkhand :- When the Giridih came into existence as district Late Nageshwar Prasad was the first MP. It is well connected by both ways by road as well as by train. The nearest railway junction of this district is Madhupur, which is, placed about 38 km away from Giridih. For travelling Madhupur there is single passenger train and it runs five times in a day and time to reach the Madhupur round about an hour. Parasnath is located at the distance of 48 km from Giridih and it is being administered by East Central Railway Zone by Indian Railway.
