About: – Bokaro was announced as a district in the year of 1991. It is located at the elevation of 210 meters from the sea level and placed in Chota Nagpur plateau. There are many Industries running in Bokaro and its surrounding. Bokaro Steel Plant is also one of them. BSL is fourth integrated plant in public sector. It started working from the year of 1965 co partnership with Soviet Union. It was a limited company and later it is merged with SAIL. It is a first Swadeshi steel plant of India.
