About: – Sahibaganj is located in the state of Jharkhand. It had been announced as a district on 17 May 1983. Administrative offices are placed in Sahibganj town. The history of this district is interesting and rich. The present territory of this district was the part of Bengal Subah in the period of Mughal Empire. Rajmahal, a place in this district, was the capital of the Bengal Subah 1592. In 1639, it became once again the capital of Baegal Subah.
